No Place Like Home

We have a dog who had recently had surgery, and had an e-cone on her head so that she would not lick or bite at the stitches from the surgery. We instructed Fran to keep our dog's e-cone on between visits, as we did not want her stitches opened up. When our dog was not eating much Fran told us she left the e-cone off our dog for a few hours, leaving her unsupervised, hoping that she would eat. While I didn't like that she didn't follow our instructions, because she did it out of concern for our dog (and nothing bad happened), I decided to let it go. However, Fran showed an unprofessional and immature side after we canceled a future visit due to circumstances beyond our control (my job was moving me). I felt that we gave adequate notice to find a replacement (it was almost a month away), however Fran decided to be rude to my wife about it when she dropped our key back off with us, slamming the door on her way out.
